Prof. Dr. Riccardo A.A. Muzzarelli appointed Editor of Carbohydrate Polymers Effective June 1st, 2010, Prof. Muzzarelli has been appointed Editor of the international journal Carbohydrate Polymers, Elsevier, Oxford, devoted to the scientific and technological aspects of industrially important polysaccharides. Since 1987 he is a member of the Scientific Editorial Board of the journal, actively engaged in the reviewing process of submitted manuscripts. As can be seen in other parts of this site, Prof. Muzzarelli has also published a number of original articles in this journal. The importance of the journal has increased progressively over the years (see table below), the published articles on chitin and chitosan being today the majority.
